Track Me is a local time-tracking Chrome extension.
What data is processed
- Tasks, session timestamps, and extension settings.
- Optional backup files generated by the user or automatic backup setting.
- Optional feedback messages submitted through the in-extension feedback form.
Where data is stored
- Data is stored locally in the browser using Chrome Extension storage (
chrome.storage.local).
- Backup files are saved to the user’s local Downloads folder (or user-selected location for manual backup).
- Feedback messages are stored in the extension owner’s Google Forms / Google Sheets account when voluntarily submitted by the user.
Data sharing
- Task data and settings remain stored locally in the browser.
- If you choose to send feedback, your message is transmitted to Google Forms (Google LLC) for review. Only the text you submit is sent — no tasks, timers, or backup data are included.
- Track Me does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties for advertising.

User control
- Users can delete tasks and local data directly in the extension.
- Users can enable/disable automatic backup in Settings.
- Feedback is sent only when the user explicitly submits the feedback form.
- Users can uninstall the extension at any time.
